ROCK & ROLL LOVE LETTERS - DECEMBER of 2002

DOWN AT THE ROCK & ROLL STUDIO:
"Pill Box" was finished on the 14th, blah, blah, blah
A new version of "Hung-Up On A Pin-Up Girl" was laid to rest on the 15th & 16th, yap, yap, yap

WHAT ELSE IS NEW?:
Splendid E-Zine takes a crack at "A Date With Rick Rose Rude"...
http://www.splendidezine.com/review.html?reviewid=3245240662375363

NEW MP3 OF THE MONTH:
Go to http://www.mp3.com/rick_rose_rude & hear Rick in a gentle troubadour moment with the MP3 of the month, "Sweet Believer." Yes, "He's A Ramone" much like it's subject matter is no longer with us, so grab this track before it too finally bites the dust into "Yeah, I forgot that one" land.

THE TROUBADOUR OF THE GRIEVOUS ANGELS:
In January Rick will begin recording a new acoustic CD, currently titled "The Troubadour Of The Grievous Angels." It should have around 10 songs plus a few MP3's, photos & possibly some MPEG video footage from Gainesville's the Grog House.

IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, YOU CAN LEAVE:
Rick has been sifting through hours of video footage as well & as soon as he can get his setup back together & operational he plans to begin compiling a full-length video entitled "If You Don't Like It, You Can Leave." The set will feature live performances from Gainesville's Common Grounds (Lesbian Brothel) & the Grog House as well as various other forms of drunken depravity & embarrassing memories.

MANIFESTO 2003:
After having read over countless "Biographies" & or "Press Releases" by many numerous local bands we have been induced into vomit. The majority just seem to be complete drivel: pointless name-dropping, self-congratulatory back-pats, out right dick-sucking & pathetic lies, & build the artists up to standards that most likely disappoint music fans upon finally hearing the much over-hyped band/artist in question. We’re sick of it, just as you most likely are, so we bring you a breath of fresh air, with this, the latest Rick Rose Rude press release:

We’re not going to tell you that Rick is "deep" & "meaningful," actually he’s quite shallow & he’ll be the first to admit that his whole existence is pointless & meaningless.
We’re not going to tell you that Rick is spearheading some new movement, scene or has created some new form of music. No folks, he’s just playing rock n roll
We’re not going to tell you why you should like Rick. Hell, we’re not even going to tell you to like Rick, we don’t, so why should you?
We’re not going to tell you that Rick is this close to getting a major label record deal. Hell, he can’t even get a deal with Columbia House.
Rick isn’t going to score the opening slot on the latest Rolling Stones tour. Hell, he has a hard enough time getting booked at the local bars.
We’re not going to tell you that Rick supports the local music scene because he doesn’t. He’s honest enough to admit that he thinks virtually every band is generic & death-inducing boring.
We’re not going to tell you that Rick has really grown musically & "takes it to the next level" on his new recording, "A Date With Rick Rose Rude" because he hasn’t. Although it does sound better. See, if we have something good to say, we’ll say it, but we’re not going to lie to you for the sake of over-hyping Rick.

We could go on & on & on, but why? We think we’ve said enough. It’s now up to you, the consumer to make your purchasing decisions & live with them... until a need for cash & a used CD store do you part.

ROCK & ROLL LOVE LETTERS - NOVEMBER of 2002

DOWN AT THE ROCK & ROLL STUDIO:
In the beginning days of September, Rick finished up a new version of "Model Girlfriend" which Rick is sending to Billy Whitfield of Toxic Flyer Fanzine for his upcoming compilation CD. Interested parties should contact Billy at:
toxicflyerglamout@hotmail.com
On 09/18/02, Rude laid down vocals & guitars, while Rick Nuthman laid down drums on a cover of the Jones' "Pill Box". Later that evening Nuthman's birthday was celebrated & as the Moronic Duo (RRR & Jason Borton) ran off to Hollywood, "Pill Box" presently remains unfinished.

HOLLYWOOD CONTACT HIGH:
Rick & Jason Borton ubruptly left Gainesville, FL for Hollywood, CA on the 25th of September after deciding (very drunkenly) the previous night that they wanted to trade palm trees for palm trees. It was supposed to be a permanent move but ended up being an exspensive vacation as they returned to Gainesville on the 14th of October. The two have plans to make another go of it sometime in early 2003, with a wiser, more sober direction - to get an apartment before throwing everything to the wind & going back on a mere whim.
Rick enjoyed seeing people wearing T. Rex & Dolls shirts, talking to people who knew of these bands, being able to find good music in the stores instead of having to order it, all the rock bands playing night after night, the hectic big city life, etc. "People have told me I'm nuts but I don't care, I really like it. They don't have to go with me..." Rick commented.
In the meantime, Rick is doing a tour of FL couches while picking up his mail at his Mom's address in Ocala:
Rick Rose Rude
1806 NE 29th PL.
Ocala, FL. 34479-3351
"Sleeping on friends' couches & staying with my Mom... I'm 27 years old!" Rude proclaimed. "I think I need to make a career move!"

HE'S A RAMONE:
Rick recorded a new version of this song when Dee Dee passed away & it was supposed to have come out on a "Soap Opera" CDEP in August but obviously, that never happened. We are placing it on MP3.com as the exclusive "Track Of The Month". It will be available for download until 11/01/02, so get it now at:
http://www.mp3.com/rick_rose_rude
for Rick's off-key vocals & embarrassing lyrics & Nuthman's astounding backing vocals that steal the show.

NEW MESSAGE BOARD:
We have one, just so ya know. No one has proclaimed their hate for the Rude one yet & it's been up for a while!

NEW ADDRESS:
Rick Rose Rude
1806 NE 29th PL.
Ocala, FL. 34479-3351

ALL BY MYSELF:
Rick has been going through old tapes & transferring them to CD. Giving them all a 16-bit digital remastering. So far he's worked on the tapes from the "Sex, Drugs & Rock & Roll Are Dead" & "A Dozen Bleeding Roses" cassette only releases, as well as numerous demos, out-takes & live shows from the 95 - 99 period. He plans to spend November working on the Father Love Dogs material, re-mastering some 97-00 material & transferring some acoustic demos from 98-99 to disc. At some point, a CD may be compiled from these tapes.
Rick plans to record a new acoustic album in December & hopefully have it released by April of 2003. As always, Rick is looking for gis in the Fl area.
Rick also has a whole album of new material written that he says he may begin to record in the new year.
Until next time...

ROCK & ROLL LOVE LETTERS
September, 15th, 2002

TOXIC FLYER:
Toxic Flyer Fanzine have pushed out issue #33 & it's currently available to you, the consumer from Billy at toxicflyerglamout@hotmail.com
Billy's projected compilation CD is still in the works but it will no longer feature the RRR track "Convenience Store Rock" but a new version of "Model Girlfriend" recorded on 08/30/2002. It is Rick's first solo production since he hooked up with producer Rony Risconti at the beginning of 2001. Days before the "A Date With Rick Rose Rude" sleeves were to be printed, Risconti demanded that his name be removed from the project & that he no longer be associated with the triple R. Rick has continued on drinking & recording completely unhindered by the incident. To quote Rick "I ain't got nothin' better to do..."

HERE TODAY. GONE TOMORROW:
The Ramones tribute CD that Rick was involved with is now in the hands of German company Wolverine Records. They are currently deciding if they wish to release it or not but interest is high. The original label (guy) that was putting it out, named Shortfuse Music (Brandon Clubb) conned some of the bands out of money & then ran. He was given the benefit of the doubt but failed to come through. So fuck this asshole & everything he stands for. May someone use a very venomous snake as a dildo on his ass, may someone dangle his "package" into shark infested waters & see if it gets a bite, may someone attach each of his limbs (including his penis if the sharks didn't want it) onto wild, untamed horses & set them forth in different directions, you get the idea. This guy's a creep & not the type in the Radiohead song. He's the type that steals from rock & roll bands. May God rest his soul.

I'M MORE COMPRESSED THAN AN MP3:
Rick now has his very own MP3 site & you can currently buy RRR's latest CD, "A Date With Rick Rose Rude" there for .98 (Manufactured & distributed by MP3.com). We also plan to add one exclusive track to the site each month as well -- acoustic versions, different mixes, live versions, unreleased songs, demos, alternate takes, etc. We hope you'll enjoy the site & visit it often & pass it along to your friends & in the process give Rick some beer money. Go to:

HOLLYWOOD OR NOT TO HOLLYWOOD:
While most musicians take the plunge at 18 or so, Rick has decided to do it at 22 or so. Yes, Rick is pretty sure that he'll be heading to the city of Los Angeles or close by & with him will be Dan Mendez & hopefully Jason Borton. When Rick asked why he was going he replied "I ain't got nothing better to do." Rick also talked about what inspires him... "Rough times, seediness, violence, dirt, filth, decadence disguised as glamour, an endless list that's the underbelly of the American dream. I think Los Angeles will bring out a lot of creativity in me." he said. When warned of the competition out there, Rick retorted with "Yeah, I know but Hell, I can't even get a band together here to go up against the competition here, so who gives a fuck?! If I can just get a band together when I get out there, I'll get my foot in the door somewhere... I'm a relentless bastard. I ain't got nothin' better to do."

TAKE THE HOLLYWOOD QUESTIONNAIRE:
01.Do all the girls really look like Barbie & if so, do they come with excessories such as a mansion & a car, or are they sold separately? Do they only date guys named Ken?
02.If you don't have a girlfriend, are you really, truly homeless?! Is it state law?
03.Are girls really dumb enough to take care of guys in rock & roll bands? If so, where can we find those ignorant, um, I mean, wonderful ladies?!
04.If someone you know is getting beaten by the LAPD, should you run, videotape or help him/her or just laugh?!
05.If you take a deep breath when you wake up in the morning, will the smog get you high?
OK, enough questions boys & girls! We'll have more next time & hopefully we can get some answers to these questions & post 'em in the next JunkiE-Mail.
Now go do something useful with your life.

ROCK & ROLL LOVE LETTERS - AUGUST, 1st, 2002
Yes, boys & girls, ladies & gentlemen, it's that time of the month, when we, the team behind Rick Rose Rude give you cramps & that uncomfortable feeling that seems if it will never end & even if it does... it will be back in another month for another visit. So what can we do to make this less miserable? Make it short & to the point. Sweet would be too much to ask for.
Let's get down to business...
Rick was busy throughout July, recording "Who's Gonna Save You Now?", "Never Gonna Take Us Alive", a piano version of "How May I Serve You?", & the new, soon to be classic, "Oxycontin". What does this mean, you may ask? It means that the brand new RRR full length CD is DONE! Finished! Ready for your consumption. Available for purchase. Rick needs money. Caprice? Didn't it seem as if it never would be? As if it was all a scam? That EP after EP would be unlaoded upon you with no logical conclussion in sight? Well, it's here & it's what you've always wanted... wether you knew it or not! "A Date With Rick Rose Rude" is now available for the over priced charge of .00. It actually looks professional, making it even sound somewhat professional, thanks to graphic designer Rick Nuthman, who shot the cover on 07/27/2002 & then worked fevershly to make it somehow look proper. You WILL be impressed... but Rick's not, he never is. But don't let that sidetrack you, the CD contains the following tracks:
Damn The MTV Generation
Lesbian
Living In The 21st Century
How May I Serve You? - piano version
Oxycontin
Heartache
She Makes My Life A Blur
Never Gonna Take Us Alive
The Ballad Of A Shooting Star - electric version
13 B
Who's Gonna Save You Now?
Soap Opera

Rick has even been performing live again. He's put in 2 shows at the Grog House in Gainesville, FL. On 07/15/2002, our jaded hero performed "Never Gonna Take Us Alive", "She Makes My Life A Blur", "How May I Serve You?", "Amphetamine Blues", "If Only You Were Lonely", "The Ballad Of A Shooting Star", "Model Girlfriend", "Met A Girl At N.A" & "Heartache".
On 07/22/2002, Rick took the stage again to perform "Never Gonna Take Us Alive", "Oxycontin", "How May I Serve You?", "Dead Flowers", "If Only You Were Lonely", "Model Girlfriend", "Ball & Chain" & "Heartache".
Both shows were filmed by Rick Nuthman, who has been going through old footage of RRR & has unearthed some stuff that was believed to be lost. Nuthman has been also been video taping hours upon hours of raw Rude-age for an upcoming full length video release that will feature performances from Common Grounds (late last year), the Crog House, interview segments, Rick drunk & many other priceless (albeit worthless) moments. Stay tuned & don't forget to send us .00 for the CD & your entire life saving for whatever else we may be able to offer you. We can release you from all your sins, you know?

ROCK & ROLL LOVE LETTERS - June, 30th, 2002

DOWN AT THE ROCK & ROLL STUDIO:
Mr. Rude has been very busy trying to finish up the new full length CD & recorded no less then 8 songs between June 7th & June 30th. Rude originals such as "Damn The MTV Generation" & "She Makes My Life A Blur" kicked off the busy month before the news of Dee Dee Ramone's passing fell upon us & Rick recorded several Dee Dee penned Ramones tunes. "Questioningly", "Carbona Not Glue" & "Chinese Rocks" were recorded in quick secession, as was a new version of the Rude original, "He's A Ramone", before the month was wrapped up with the recording of 2 more Rude originals, "Maria" & "Lesbian".
More recording will take place throughout July, Rick plans to record the originals "Who's Gonna Save You Now?", "Never Gonna Take Us Alive", "Happy", "Damnation" & "Crash" & possibly some more cover tunes before deciding on a final track listing for the new CD. The current plan is to have the CD ready for release by late August.

JUNE 22nd, A DAY THAT WILL LIVE IN INFAMY:
Shortly before his trip to Mexico, Rick had found a new Epiphone Hummingbird to replace the one that Tyler Black had broken. The guitar was used one time, to record "Questioningly", before it to, bit the big one. Rick Nuthman walked by it, it fell onto the carpet & the head snapped right off of it. After spending a piece on these 2 beautiful guitars, Rick decided to go buy a cheap Epiphone. As of this writing, it is still in one piece & has so far been used on "He's A Ramone"

NO-ONE LIKES RICK ANYMORE:
Not that we've been sending many promo CD's off as of late (we're waiting for the new full length before we start our standard take-no-prisoners tactics) out of the 10 (yeah, we're doing things very small right now) "Living In The 21st Century" CDEP's that we did send off, only one person has actually bothered to review it. That brave man is Billy Whitfield. He runs Toxic Flyer Fanzine. He needs little introduction here, I hope. Buy his mag! have his children. Buy him drinks but do something for this guy.
He makes Rick feel appreciated without giving him too big of an ego. Hell, e-mail Billy & tell him that you love him, or send him some porn... toxicflyerglamout@hotmail.com

LITTERING THE INFORMATION HIGHWAY:
You can go http://www.geocities.com/nowwave & check out their Review & Rant sections for some stuff written by the Rude one. Reviews & a chapter from his forever-in-progress novel.
Rick also has some shit up at http://www.therawk.com
Look for even more new stuff very soon.

APPRAISING HATE:
We have a new Message Board up http://www.rickroserude.com under "Chatter Box" & it someone has wasted no time at all at using it to express their unhappiness with Rick. Have your own opinions to share, good or bad? That's what it's there for, kids. Don't let it go to waste. Cyber space is just space until you fill it & then it's... well, it's cyber crap.

DEE DEE RAMONE & JOHN ENTWISTLE:
Why is everyone dying lately? Not only that but both of these guys are bassists. Everyone knows how I feel about the Ramones, especially Dee Dee. The world wouldn't have been the same without him & I don't know how there can be life without Dee Dee Ramone. Seriously, who wants to live in a world without Dee Dee Ramone?
I won't lie. I've never been a huge Who fan but I do like them & own several of their records & think that most of their 60's singles were pure genius. I can live in a world without John Entwistle but I'll still miss the guy.

Gabba gabba hey

ROCK & ROLL LOVE LETTERS - May, 30th, 2002

DOWN AT THE ROCK & ROLL STUDIO:

On April, 27th, Rick spent the day & most of the evening recording the guitars, bass, drums & scratch vocals to the RRR original "Soap Opera". The next day, the guitars were wiped & new guitar tracks were recorded. The sessions were then delayed for a week while Rick took finals but he was back with a vengeance on May 5th to record more guitars & re-do the vocals, these were scrapped & re-recorded on the 7th. The sessions were interrupted yet again by a week long sojourn to Mexico that made Rick 3 days late for class. More time was spent awaiting for Karen Quinn to come to town (she currently resides in Cedar Key, FL.) or for Shasta Ryan to find the time to come by & do some backing vocals. By May, 26th, this seemed like a lost cause & Rick decided it was time to move on, as much as he hates singing with himself, he did the backing vocals & some percussion & the song was mixed down by Rude & producer Rony Risconti. On May, 30th, Rick, Shasta & Rick Nuthman attempted to do some backing vocals on the track. They were drunk & under the direction of Rude (Risconti was not informed of this late night get-together) & managed to erase many of the percussion tracks. Nothing suitable was recorded & Rick has decided to go with the original mix & master that was made on the 26th.

ADIOS TO MEXICO:
On May, 8th, Thomas Cannon decided he was going to Mexico. There was to be no changing his mind & never one to turn down a road trip (even if it means missing the first 3 days of class), Rick went along to as well as Jet Barber (already visiting Florida from Virginia). On May, 9th, the trio arrived in Matamoros, Mexico where they spent a night & the next day they took a bus into Monterey where they stayed in all the hotels the tourists guides said not to stay in & went to all the bars that the tourists guide said not to go to. Rick was quoted as saying "I can't die, so what's there to worry about?" Rick fell in love there, with a wonderful bar & grill called Nueva Luna that Rick spent every meal & every happy hour at. They happened upon a anniversary party for Club Iguana, which landed them free beer & some fond memories. Irish-Canadian now Mexico resident Michael Davis stated that "If they didn't like you they would have killed you already..." Rick had a great time, enjoying the girls adulation of American men, the low cost of food, beer & hotels & all the extraordinary people that he met. The trio left Mexico on the 14th & returned home to Florida on the 15th. Rick's classes had started on the 13th. Rick took a notebook with him & filled it with memoirs of the journey. He is currently in the process of writing into a book & the first chapter is almost done. If Mark & Julie of the Rawk are up for it, expect to see it, chapter by chapter, under the Rick Rose Rude section of their website. Granted, Rick gets it done... he is a lazy cunt.

BACK TO SCHOOL:
As mentioned previously, Rick is attending Summer school at Sante Fe Community College. He is currently enrolled in Summer A & was planning on taking Summer B but has now nixed that idea. The reason? For you the adoring fans, that's why. Rick feels that if he takes Summer B he'll never have the time to finish up the new RRR full-length by August. So the current plan is to take July off & do nothing but record. Day & night & have the thing finished off by the time the Fall semester starts, sometime in August. & you though that Rick didn't love you...

COMING CLEAN:
We know Rick pretty well by now, don't we? Hedonist supreme? He wants it all & more, right? Well, it still holds true that if you're an attractive young lady, Rick will try to fuck you. If you have money, Rick will still try to fuck you out of it & I still wouldn't leave a drink unattended in his presence either. Ah, yes, then there's drugs... Rick is no longer interested in them. He has been drug free (aside from alcohol & the occasional cigarette) for almost 6 months now. "I just decided to quit one day," said Rude bluntly, "I was just sick of it. It wasn't really destroying my life or anything, I was just over it. I wouldn't take those times back for anything but we've all gotta grow up at some point. That was a big step towards adulthood for me. Actually, it's the only step I've ever taken."

- ROCK & ROLL LOVE LETTERS -
APRIL, 30th, 2002

DOWN AT THE ROCK & ROLL STUDIO:
April, 9th, Rick records a new version of "Head First", a song that originally appeared on the 2000 CD release "Murder By Guitar". Rick merely felt it could be bettered & it fit on with the theme of the next CD EP. Rick recorded all the guitars, bass, drums & lead vocals & then Karen & Billy Quinn popped in to say "Hello." Before they could get the words out of their mouths, Rick had Karen singing back-up on the track & Billy helping out with some hand-claps. After they left the studio, Rick & Rony spent the evening mixing the track down. The next day, April, 10th, Rick recorded a version of the Malakas "Met A Girl At N.A." but by the 18th had decided it wasn't good enough & gave it another go. On April, 27th, Rick added more guitars & some backing vocals & the song was mixed down.

WAVING BILLY & KAREN GOODBYE:
The new newlyweds, Billy & Karen have moved from Gainesville to Cedar Keys, FL. As this is their new home it's very unlikely that Karen will be able to actively participate in many more recording sessions. She will be missed.

HERE TODAY, GONE TOMORROW:
The latest news on this upcoming tribute to the Ramones is that it will be available in three weeks. The CD closes with two Rude tracks that were originally released on the "Heartache" CD EP back in August of 2001. They are a cover of the Ramones tune "I Remember You" & a Rude original entitled "He's A Ramone", both are tributes to Joey Ramone & feature Jessica Simpleton on backing vocals & cocaine. By the way, the "Heartache" CD EP is almost gone. Same with "Celia Cool Charm" & "The Ballad Of A Shooting Star". Get 'em while you can, 'cause they're not being re-issued.

THOMAS "THE FLOOR-WETTER" CANNON:
During the wee hours of Tuesday morning, April, 23rd, an unspeakable horror happened that has left Rick shocked, dumbfounded, insulted, confused & just plain irritated. A drunk Thomas Cannon fell asleep on Rick's bedroom floor & pissed himself. Not just himself but he also ruined a substantial pile of the Rude ones artwork & original CD sleeves. All soaked in piss. All garbage now. Reports that Rick intends to unleash a loaded bladder on Thomas' bedroom floor in the near future could not be verified. More on this tragedy as it unfolds... or, uh, flows.

RUDE RAWK:
Rick has an new article up on the Rawk. It's not his best contribution to this rawking e-zine but it's something. He makes plenty of excuses for being a lazy bastard who does nothing but drink all day & chase girls all night. I have seen some excerpts from his next contribution & it's more aggravated. It's the cynical, jaded, sarcastic son of a bitch that we've all come to love & detest.
http://www.therawk.com

LIVING IN THE 21st CENTURY:
April, 30th sees the release of the brand new Rick Rose Rude single, "Living In The 21st Century". It is to be the final single released before the new full length CD is released in August. That is, unless Rick decides he needs more beer or girl money, in that case, any number of things could get released. Here's the track listing for the new drink coaster that will set you back .00...
#1)"Living In The 21st Century" (Rude) - from the upcoming full length CD
#2)"Head First" (Rude) - new version
#3)"20th Century Boy" (Bolan)

MONDAY, MARCH, 11th - CRANFORD NIX - RIP http://www.themalakas.com
Cranford Nix, the guitarist/vocalist for the Malakas, was found dead in his Berkeley (suburban Detroit) apartment Monday. He was 33 years old. He had been bouncing in and out of rehab for quite some time. In fact as recent as last week --just checked out and had a clean bill of health. He was seen out and about on the town during the weekend looking good and in good spirits, recently
divorced and declaring himself a free man. Cause of death was an accidental heroin overdose. He will be greatly missed for anyone who really knew him. The
funeral will be in Georgia (the home state of his father). And the Detroit music community will be preparing a special memorial show. I dont have any other details at this time. If anyone is interested to learn more --get in touch and will give you the details as I get them---

Toxic Flyer came in with the first review of "Shooting Star' but as it's a print only zine you cyber geeks/reality rejects will just have to order it from Billy by contacting him at toxicflyerglamout@hotmail.com

WE'RE GOING TO THE CHAPPEL OF LOVE:
Billy Quin & Karen Eller got married on their one year anniversary in Cedar Keys, FL on March, 14th. Rick behaved well & only got short lectures by the cops after the reception, no arrests. Karen was quite pleased with Rick who she describes as "the little todler who's training me to be a mom." Billy & Karen are expecting their first child, a son, in August. God bless & many, many happy years.

DOWN AT THE ROCK & ROLL STUDIO:
On March, 3rd, Bleeding Rose was updated to include a Zoom guitar F/x unit which Rick has been toying around with lately. "He likes it better than the last one" stated producer Rony Risconti "but it still confuses him."
On March, 15th, Rick enters the studio with Kentucky musician Rick Nuthman(brother of Jason Borton) & they jam on some oldies & then Nutman tried to lay some piano tracks down on "She Knows The Score" but drunkeness had set in & the
session quickly became party & then a slumber party.
On March, 19th Rick got the ball rolling again by recording the guitars, bass & drums to a T.Rex song called "20th Century Boy" & hopes to have a new single out this month for the song "Living In The 21st Century" & a new album out by August.
Further work as done on the song throught out the week as vocals were aded on the 20th & more guitars on the 21st. Karen Quin came by & sang back-up on the 24th & the song was mixed down the following day by Rick & Rony.

GETTING COVERED:
Rick Nuthman recently recorded a mock boy-band verion of the Rude tune "Don't Ever Get Married". It had Rick rolling on the floor for hours & he has even expressed interest in doing a split CD with Nuthamn. Stay tuned for more details in this late breakin coverstory.

RICK ROSE RUDE SIGHTINGS:
Rick was was in Orlando from February, 28th until March, 03rd, mainly to see Nutrajet on the first but also to visit friends, have a wasted weekend & make insane CD purchases.
On March, 25 Rick woke up in St. Mary's GA with no hair. Rick Nuthman, Jason Borton & Todler also suffered a similar fate. A pic as soon as it's available.
On the 26th & 27th of March, Rick & entourage (Jason, Kasey & Tod) invaded the
St. Petersberg/Clearwater, FL. area to visit family & friends. Rick got drunk of course. Look for a full story on all the above & more, coming SOON to
the Rawk. Rick should also be handing over his Nutrajet review to the Now Wave any day now.

NOT HERE TODAY BUT STILL COMING:
The Ramones tribute CD, "Here Today, Gone Tomorrow" has seen some delays but the CD's have been shipped to Short Fuse Music by the manufactuarers & theyshould be here within a couple of weeks.Contact OnesFallingSoul@aol.com for more info.

Happy holidays & here's to hoping you had better luck at finding the Easter Bunny then Rick did. Unless you wanna do to it what he wanted to do to it....

ROCK & ROLL LOVE LETTERS
FEBRUARY, 1st, 2001 - FEBRUARY, 14th, 2001

DOWN AT THE ROCK & ROLL STUDIO:
01/21st, Rick & producer Rony Risconti team up to record a song that Rick had originally written for "Murder By Guitar" but forgot about. It was
found earlier last year as an acoustic demo on the same tape as an acoustic demo of "Don't Ever get Married". Rick recorded acoustic guitar, bass,
drums, piano & vocals before calling it a day.
On 01/23rd, singer Karen Eller came by & added some backing vocals while on 01/24th, GainesVillains guitairst Tyler Black came by, erased Miss Eller's backing vocal & laid down some lead guitar. So, on 01/26th, Karen Eller dropped by again to add her
backing parts & Rick & Rony mixed the song down the following day. Shortly after this session, Tyler somehow snapped the neck of Rick's Epiphone
Hummingbird acoustic. To say the least, don't expect Tyler to appear on any more RRR tracks.
Rick is still trying to get an actual band together but says that "Gainesville has too many hippies to be any good. I came here to attend school & get a band together but I don't see the last thing happening. I don't wanna be in Phish & I'm very Grateful that the Grateful Dead are
Dead."

NOWHERE IS MY HOME... UNTIL NOW!
Rick now his very own place where he very happily lives ALONE & in SOLITUDE with no roommates trying to rip him out of his money & possessions.
Rick can now (& for quite some time) be reached at:
Rick Rose Rude
3310 NW 91st St. 11-B
Gainesville, FL. 32606
Since 02/08th, Rick has been residing at Gainesville's Santa Fe Trace apartments. Located right next to Santa Fe College where, since 01/07th, Rick has been attending school. When asked why he went back to school, Rick was quoted as saying "Every time I'd walk through there to catch the bus somewhere, I'd see the most beautiful girls. Hundreds of them. I knew it was the place for me."

IT'S MY PARTY & I'LL NOT REMEMBER IT IF I WANT TO:
As we all know, 02/09th is the notorious ones birthday. Rick thanks everyone who sent him cards & gifts & thanks everyone that came to the party... even though he doesn't remember any of it. Hopefully someone got some priceless pictures. Speaking of which, when is Rick gonna put the photo
section back up on http://www.rickroserude.com ? He's probably waiting for someone else to do it for him. Some things never change, they just get older.

Well, that's it boys & girls. Have a happy fucking Valentine's day & remember that Rick is alone somewhere, all by himself... LOVING IT!
